The spirit of prophecy is the cuckoo clock of Jesus Christ

Revelation 19:15 - King James Version (KJV)

<15> And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Luke 2:35 - King James Version (KJV)

<35> (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.

These swords are one, the Word in person in the form of the text and the Word made flesh and Divine Human Jesus Christ, our Father, Lord and God. The soul is the will that chooses between fire and fire, good and evil, love and hate. The thoughts are the kind that choose between truth and falsehood, water and water.

The trial by fire and the trial by water are the sword of the Word in action, the process whereby God purifies your sun and moon, gold and silver, heart and mind. It is these we bake and seethe in the desert forty years.

Psalms 66:12

Psalm 66:12 - King James Version (KJV)

<12> Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

These are the two olive trees and two candlesticks, the two witnesses, the double portion of manna for the seventh day, the compartments on the ark, and the reason why God wrote the Bible in special chiastic pairs like bread and wine and honor and glory; or like bread of wickedness and wine of violence and shame and contempt.

In the furnace and the flood we are purified by the sword out of His mouth.

There is fire that is love of God and the neighbor. And there is a strange fire of love of self and the world. There is water that is divine truth and there is water that is infernal and false. It is the role of the two purifications to switch your polarity from the fallen sin and error to the risen good and truth.

In order to access Jacob's Ladder you must learn about these special interrelations known outside the Church as chiastic structures and inside the Church as the heavenly marriage.

When these pairs like bread and wine are positive, they are marriages; and when reversed they are adulteries.

The same settings are also known as conjunction and disjunction.

They are also known as the bride and bridegroom sounding; versus their sounding no longer.

This is the case within the soul of an individual believer and the soul of the Church in question. Either the bridegroom and bride sound joyously or no longer individually and collectively.

Exodus 16:23 - King James Version (KJV)

<23> And he said unto them, This is that which the Lord hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the Lord: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.

This is said of manna. It must be understood in relation to this

Revelation 2:17 - King James Version (KJV)

<17> He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Not may be understood. Must.

2 Peter 1:19-20 - King James Version (KJV)

<19> We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: <20> Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

No prophecy of scripture also can be understood other than as the verse which concludes the statement of the two greatest commandments; being that final verse especially and set in context.

Matthew 22:36-40 - King James Version (KJV)

<36> Master, which is the great commandment in the law? <37> Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. <38> This is the first and great commandment. <39> And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. <40> On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

The prophecies hang on the decline of love in one Church, which becomes a whore, and its rebirth in another, which becomes the Church in its place.

They are not geopolitical predictions but the cuckoo clock of Jesus Christ.

On an ordinary wooden cuckoo ⏰ one might see a wooden bride and bridegroom and perhaps other figures. On the cuckoo of Emmanuel we also see a bride and bridegroom. Just like on the wooden one we see a bride and bridegroom painted gay colors emerging from a door. And just  like on the wooden one we see a bride and bridegroom disappearing into a door. In both cases we see a trajectory. This trajectory:

Isaiah 1:21 - King James Version (KJV)

<21> How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.

Here it is again as morning, when the bride and bridegroom emerge from their wooden door; and as night, when the bride and bridegroom disappear into their wooden door:

Isaiah 21:12 - King James Version (KJV)

<12> The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will enquire, enquire ye: return, come.

In the morning, the Church is a faithful city, in the evening a whore. When it is a faithful city, it eats bread and drinks wine; there is oil in its lamps; it hurts not the oil and wine. When it is a whore it eats bread of wickedness and drinks wine of violence; or it eats bread of mourning and drinks wine of the wrath, these are the same, and when it does so it hurts the oil and wine as here: Revelation 6:6

"And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine."

Neighbors, this morning must be understood in connection to this verse. Not may, must:

Luke 10:34 - King James Version (KJV)

<34> And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

And this night that comes also must be considered in relation to these verses:

Luke 10:31-32 - King James Version (KJV)

<31> And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. <32> And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

These people have no oil in their lamps to pour into those wounds because they are part of the whore, which is the anti-church that has hurt the oil and wine.

But the good Samaritan has oil and wine to pour because he is part of the Church where the bride and bridegroom sound and the millstone is heard.

What does the millstone sound like? It sounds like this sermon on the cycle of the Church. What happens when the anti-church has no idea about any of this? The sound of the millstone is heard no longer.

What do you call information that helps you prove a point? You call it having grist for your mill.

Stone being predicated of truth, and grain having to do with bread, the millstone plays the important part of spiritual truth in the process whereby we bake bread; which is to be strengthened by His might, which is to grow in love of God and the neighbor. And the spiritual truth that we learn from the Word helps us to understand and implement this growing in love; just as wine assists us in swallowing bread and just as light assists us in doing any useful work.

Psalm 104:15 - King James Version (KJV)

<15> And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.

There is no worthiness to eat the bread apart from growing in love, which is the same as strengthening the heart. And there is no worthiness to drink the wine apart from growing in knowledge of love practiced in real life (not merely memorized).

And for Him to enter in and sup with you is for Him to strengthen you with His might and the riches of His glory:

Ephesians 3:16 - King James Version (KJV)

<16> That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

These verses properly understood are like stones of a temple upon one another. But improperly understood they are like a temple wherein no stone is left standing upon another.

These too have their equivalents elsewhere in God's symbolism, the sound of the millstone heard and not heard already mentioned.

Mark 9:22 - King James Version (KJV)

<22> And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.

The first is baking the manna, the second seething (boiling) it. The first grows your love, the second your understanding. That is, it grows them if you overcome. It is to those who overcome that He gives the hidden manna; not the others, the ones who have the mark of the beast on their hands and in their foreheads, who are burnt up root (charity) and branch (faith/understanding).

What has been going on while reading this teaching? Your spiritual rationality has been ascending and descending on the Son of Man who is the warp and woof of the Word and the universe. The ascent and descent of your love and enlightenment has its counterpart in the epic rubric here taught to you clearly. Hear, O 21st century man, the inner meaning of the Word of God!
