The glory of God is inseparable from spiritual information

There are numerous explanations of glory, spiritual information shining from within the Word, and cloud, the outer or literal sense within which glory sits, throughout the Writings for the simple reason that God carefully writes cloud and glory into the Word precisely so and often; and He wants us to know why.

Exodus 24:16 - King James Version (KJV)

<16> And the glory of the Lord abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

The experience of glory cannot be distinguished from being informed by that glory. The goal is to get you to the point where you see the connection between His glory and spiritual information for yourself with spiritual eyes.

The goal is for you to know power and glory within yourself with a clear connection between this awareness and the sections of the Word concerning it.

2 Kings 6:17 - King James Version (KJV)

<17> And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

This opening by God unlocks the spiritual meaning of the Word: love (mountain, fire); the reasonings which bear on perfecting in love (horses of fire); and the doctrines and spiritual ideas which bear on perfecting in love (chariots of fire). The horses of spiritual reasoning pull the chariots of spiritual ideas. All of this together is a lamp, and that lamp should not exist apart from oil, the good of love.

For what good are horses and chariots that are not of fire, which do not involve hearing and doing the Word? We do not need a mere historical record of someone seeing an angelic army. Yet we need everything in the Word! How then do we need these verses? We need them to know what love of God and the neighbor are and how to practice them ever more finely forever.

Philippians 1:9 - King James Version (KJV)

<9> And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

And this I pray, that your mountain may fill with horses and chariots of fire, that the glory which sits on Mount Sinai for six days may speak to you out of the midst of the cloud on the seventh. It is the same! And here it is the same:

2 Peter 1:19 - King James Version (KJV)

<19> We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

And the same: "You rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory". You rejoice  whilst your love abounds yet more and more in knowledge and in judgment.

The point of preaching and the Church should ultimately be to smooth and inform the process whereby a believer comes to know what His entering in to eat and drink with us means; and what His appearing in the clouds with great power and glory means. God wants you to know the bread and wine, the strengthening with might and riches of His glory, from the inside out, and to take heed to His Word patiently until that happens.
