Watch and Pray: Breath Meditation and the Inside of the Platter (Heart) and Cup (Mind)

Periodically one suggests engaging in motionless breath meditation in a posture comfortable to you and for perhaps ten to twenty minutes before praying and reading the Word.

Certain heart and mind thoughtforms will recur in you habitually. These will arise amid the breath meditation out of the corner of the mind's eye while not immersing one in naive identification with the mental voice as being oneself; as would otherwise more easily obtain.

This feeling is not me. This thought is not me. Is this a love and wisdom thoughtform? Or a sin and error thoughtform? Is this nurturing or cruel, and is it supportive ideation of nurturance or cruelty? Does the Word identify this thought or feeling as evil or good true or false? Is Hell on the line or Heaven?

If it is evil and ideation supportive of evil, bread of wickedness and wine of violence, it is to go out in the draught. If it is not shunned, relegating it to the draught or periphery, then it will defile the human.

For the human is defiled by the sin and error thoughtforms and behaviors delighted in and practiced. But the human is nurtured by the love and wisdom thoughtforms, and these shrink like hands from a hot stove if evil is on the plate and falsehood supportive of evil is in the cup.

You watch and pray by bringing the Word voluntarily into your very feelings and thoughts and capacity for recognizing and shunning some while welcoming and appropriating others.

This occurs countless times, because the panel beating of God is very patient and respectful of the way we would come apart if the tempo of changes in the heart were too strident. And our free will is built into the system of purifying the face, the interior, so that we are no wise compelled but make a free choice between freedom and slavery.

Proverbs 4:23 - King James Version (KJV)

<23> Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Matthew 23:26 - King James Version (KJV)

<26>Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

Watch your heart and mind and platter and cup and beasts and birds and pray.
