Neither marrying nor giving in marriage like the angels of Heaven

We are brought into states of hardness of heart and bloody-mindedness, and it is then that we support or oppose these joy-inhibiting sins and errors of the Old Human. We pass through fire and water and enter a wealthy place, baking or seething the manna for six days. 

And thus we gather double for the 7th day, the Sabbath rest when innocence so fuses with the ideation which supports us in innocency as to marry us in this life to the Lord and His Church; for we will not marry and give in marriage to the Lord in the life after death (notwithstanding that there are purifying trials in the life after death).

We will either sear our consciences or we will not. We will either blow out our lamps, those spiritual knowledges lit by the oil of love to feed the inner flame of love, or we will not. Multitudes, multitudes, in the valley of decision. 

Thus is it written:

"For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven" (Matthew 22:30).

But you and I, we may be one soul with another and forever, marrying in such  a way that the end of the fairy tale, 'and they lived happily ever after', does not sound like something outlandish and impossible but the threshold of a broadening Humanity and deeper love and interdependent harmony of unique individuals. 

We are told that the thought of any two individuals being exactly alike and not specially individuated fills the angels with horror! The Body grows with the increasing population and harmonized uniqueness of each particular snowflake's individuation and contribution; with all in all sharing the joy and love and ideation and expansion within themselves and as individuals a Body of Christ and very Heaven. 

We are called upon to be part of a great bucket fountain full of warm water and to embody the flesh and blood of a higher Humanity; which is come in the flesh to the improvement of our hearts and the enlightenment of our minds.

"And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world" (1 John 4:3).

This is that spirit of antichrist which is said even then to be rotting the Church in its infancy (after which Paul was given to see grievous wolves in his considered comment about the future of the apostolic Church):

"For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock" (Acts 20:29).

This is the love waxing cold, this is the breach in the wall and the devouring by Ephraim of Manasseh and by Manasseh of Ephraim. This is the root and branch burning up and the beasts of the land slain with the birds of the sky.

And He beheld and there was no man. And the earth moved lightly. For there were no spiritually alive humans in the whitened sepulchers of the Church become a whore; in its arrival at the feet of iron and clay and the pale horse death phase of the prophetic cycle.

This is the waxing cold of love, and the spirit of antichrist which is even now in the world, that is the Church; a sense of antichrist which involves "many antichrists":

"Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time" (1 John 2:18).

Little children! Does that remind you of anything? "You must become as a little child in order to enter Heaven". We must return to the innocency of our Eden in childhood, when we were held in innocence by the angels with us; but with the mind of an adult with their regenerations and that of those around them in mind; keeping one's vessel and ministering to orphans and widows: 

" Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world" (James 1:27).

It is their affliction, thus their temptation; and that is visited by the impulse to share divine truth about divine love from another who sees they have been beaten up and left for dead by robbers, who pours oil and wine into their wounds. This is ministering to orphans and widows, sharing the practice and ideation of charity and truth. And the Lord flows within the sincere heart which puts these teachings into practice and receives His flesh and blood. 

We build the antenna of divine love and divine truth by following His instructions! 

"as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount" (Hebrews 8:5).

And we receive His divine love and truth in the receiving vessels of our platters and cups, our hearts and minds; for these have been deliberately prepared for the King of Glory to enter in. Who is that King of Glory? He is your behavioral improvement and enlightening mind. He is Galaxy-Maker and DNA-Spinner, the Lord our God.

Everything we have as to our good feelings and bright thoughts comes from God through the bucket fountain which arranges us all to receive Him to the extent that we severally can. For even the wicked must receive some warmth and light and be part somehow of the infrastructure of the Lord's flesh and blood. Only thus can they feel and think, though their absence of innocency and consequently their wickedness is great and they have received but little from the Lord. 

"If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there" (Psalms 139:8). 

This is the ladder that Jacob dreamed about thence to anoint the stone of his pillow with oil; as love marries truth about love in the hearts of those who marry the Lord and His Church in this life and are even as the angels of Heaven, neither giving nor given in marriage for wed already; and wed in more personal terms with loved ones beyond that, happily after after.

This is the appointment we have to keep in the valley of decision, the acceptance or rejection of Love in our hearts and behaviors and Truth in our minds and concepts; or their rejection such that the beasts of the field and the stones of the field are not in league with thee and thou perish far from the way.

Godspeed on the way of Life, knowing your right hand from your left and being imbued with the Love and Truth of God in the ordering of the many cattle of your unruly desires. You need the Savior! Or the Ninevah of your fallen humanity is lost, and worse, the true wealth of ever-perfecting and higher Humanity of the New Human is lost! Let us marry innocency to its ideation, that the Lord may thus come in the flesh. Amen. 

Appendix:

"The second point, that people are not given in marriage in heaven, was proved by the words 'those judged worthy of reaching the other world do not marry or are given in marriage.' It is plain this means spiritual weddings because of the immediately following words, 'they can no longer die, because they are like angels and sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.' A spiritual wedding means being linked with the Lord, something that happens on earth, and if it has taken place on earth, it has also taken place in heaven. The wedding therefore cannot be repeated in heaven, nor can they be given in marriage again. This is the meaning of these words, 'The sons of this world marry and are given in marriage. But those judged worthy of reaching the other world neither marry nor are given in marriage.' These people are also called by the Lord 'the sons of the wedding' (Matt. 9:15; Mark 2:19*); and in this passage 'angels,' 'sons of God' and 'sons of the resurrection'" (Conjugal Love 41).

*It is really very simple: divine truth has a way of making certain it will not be ignored. It is an intensification of the bucket fountain like a city upon a hill. It is cultural capital of Heaven on Earth and does not belong to anyone but those committed to growing in love and loving thought and is water escaping from cupped fingers, inexhaustible!
